A DREAM OF DANCE
Our Mission

Bonnie Schuetz, Owner and Artistic Director of Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio, had a dream of teaching the art and joy of dance to students. 39 years ago, she began her dream by teaching in her garage in The Woodlands in 1983. Her dream sparked an explosion that erupted the moment she opened
her doors. In 1984, her dream became a reality when she opened her first Boni’s location in a one room studio in Panther Creek Village Center.

Throughout the years, Boni’s Dance and Performing Arts Studio has attracted thousands of dancers throughout the community and surrounding areas. Students have enjoyed the opportunity to learn and experience dance on a recreational level as well as a professional level through daily classes, summer programs, Boni’s En Toure Competitive Team, The Woodland’s Dance Company’s annual performances of The Nutcracker, their Pre-Professional Ballet Company, En Avant and their performing company Boni's En Stage and annual Spring recital productions at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The instruction, patience, discipline, and personal touch paid off with the opening of a state of the art studio in 1999 on Research Forest. The 15,000 square foot facility includes seven separate classrooms with viewing windows for parents, dressing rooms, dance Boutique, and Café Tutu. Boni’s employs a family of 50 teachers and staff that she calls "Family".
